You are invited to the 3rd Annual Tribal University! Sacred Shimmy Tribal Bellydance is delighted to welcome you to Columbus, OH for two days of study and celebration to round out your Tribal Education. You read correctly! For the first time this year, Tribal U will be a two day party. We will spend Saturday in six hours of mini-workshops hosted by Sacred Shimmy teachers, followed by a Hafla and Participants' Performance on Saturday night. Sunday we'll get right back into our dance study with Liz Malcom of Dala Tribal Bellydance, an amazing national ATS® teacher!

10:00 AM - ATS® Invasion

An ATS® Modern Invasion is here! Arm yourself with the best techniques by attending this targeted workshop. This workshop will break down some of Liz's favorite ATS® Modern steps on the Volume 7 DVD and learn how to power them up in combinations that create an energized & fearless performance. It's recommended your feet are visible, so wear dance pants, or a tucked skirt to more easily evaluate footwork. This workshop is for Intermediate to Advanced level dancers. Please be familiar with steps on Volume 7. Bring finger cymbals, notebook and water.

1:30 PM - Live or Di-alect

Now that you're armed with ATS® technique, Join Liz as she teaches some daring Dala Tribal dialect with ATS® Invasion steps. Explore
what ATS® dialect is and how to use it with prowess. Learn how to make your Dialect come alive in our ATS® world. It's recommended
your feet are visible, so wear dance pants, or a tucked skirt to more easily evaluate footwork. This workshop is for Intermediate to Advanced level dancers. Bring finger cymbals, notebook and water.

Cost

Tribal University PhD - $145: An all-access pass to all Tribal University events, including June 17 workshops with Sacred Shimmy, June 17 Performer Showcase, and June 18 workshops with Liz Malcom. Registration opens April 1.

Tribal University M.A. - $90: A combo pass to both June 18 workshops with Liz Malcolm. Registration opens April 15.

Tribal University B.A. - $80: A combo pass to all June 17 workshops with Sacred Shimmy and June 17 Performer Showcase. Registration opens April 15.
